Technical skills

Over my time in SP, I continue to level up my knowledge and skills each time I overcome a new challenge.

Here's an overview of my ever-expanding skillset.

Video Editing

From the simple days of iMovie and Capcut, I've taken my video editing skills to the next level with Adobe Premiere Pro.

Check out some of my latest projects:

SPOT LEAP Camp 2024

During the September break, I signed up for a leadership camp that took place at KTM Resorts, Batam. Beyond the leadership workshops and team-building activities, I had the chance to put my video editing skills to the test.

LeX @ Hanoi 2024

English narration

On my last day in Hanoi, together with Hong Xun and Haotian, we were tasked with creating a video to summarise our 12-day adventure with LeX. Thanks to my experience as a MAD student, I was prepared to take on the challenge. Throughout the trip, I captured photos and short videos, and even started a basic storyboard.

Back in Singapore, I lead the team to deliver the video within 5 days. Editing this video relieved the incredible 12 days spent in Hanoi.

Graphic design

After joining SP MAD, I learnt how to use graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.

Youth Model Asean Conference (YMAC) 2025

When we asked our peers about ASEAN, the words "unity" and "cohesion" resonated strongly. As the leader of the YMAC Outreach team, we spent 8 weeks designing the base design for YMAC 2025 via Adobe Illustrator.

Inspired by the spirit of ASEAN, we chose a jigsaw puzzle as the core symbol. It represents the diverse nations of ASEAN, united and interconnected, even amidst rising global tensions.

Png Kueh for Longevity

Using Adobe Illustrator, I showcased my vector illustration skills by designing a visually appealing infographic that educates people about the history and process of making Png Kueh.

Big Trails and Thrills: Little India!

This project involved creating an 18-page brochure via Adobe Illustrator about Little India, Singapore, as part of a design module.

The goal was to produce a visually appealing and informative brochure that would guide visitors through the neighborhood's cultural and historical landmarks.

Transformers: Journey to Enlightenment

For this school project, I had the exciting opportunity to dive deep into the world of DSLR photography. We were tasked with creating our own unique set-up, complete with lighting, background, and props.

The challenge was to perfectly align the angle of the prop with the backdrop, requiring meticulous planning and execution. This hands-on experience not only honed my photography skills but also taught me the importance of attention to detail.

I also used Adobe Firefly

Through this project, I gained a deeper understanding of DSLR cameras and lighting techniques.
