We woke up early in your morning to attend a class at SCIA. Our task today was to learn about "Design studies", which will help us create an informative poster on Cambodia. This will be used to advocate the public on the selected problem for next year's OLE.
A poster should make the reader see and feel from another person's shoes in order to touch them and make them interested in the campaign.
The long lecture later about plastic pollution soon made me start to wonder how so many people, (including me), neglect the current world issues despite knowing our existence on this planet is affected by how we continue to waste food and water, little rubbish all over the place and use of air conditioner excessively.
How many of us are really serious about looking into this problem? This made me wonder though how would Singapore react if a local Singaporean were to give a response similar to how Greta Thunberg spoke at this year’s UN climate action summit.
