Used the past 10 months to strengthen my skills and portfolio to better match SIT’s key desired traits for successful students. Reapplying in Oct 2025, for SIT’s Communication and Digital Media course.

Attended Impact Week, listened to panel discussions, saw interesting exhibits, boarded OceanX, rubbed it in on Dad. Continued engaging my interest in sustainability.

Revamped UAESBC’s brand guidelines, introduced new workflows, revamped existing website & corporate video, and drove process improvements during my internship. 

A well-prepared team with the right tools and clear communication can turn limited resources into remarkable results. Its vision and good teamwork, not a large budget that drives success.

While shooting the UAESBC Corporate Video, I used ChatGPT Pro to help me analyse the transcripts and extract the best parts from the talent. The result was a final video that was even better than the original storyboard.

Graduated from NEA's YESLeader program, applied various skills, collaborated with mentors and peers. Showcased my project (to a minister!) and reinforced my passion for sustainability.

SP's transdisciplinary curriculum allowed me to work with students from diverse disciplines and backgrounds, on various real world projects, preparing me to face complex challenges in today’s fast-changing world.

Represented SP as the OC for YMAC 2025, managed YMAC's social media channels, made new friends and had wonderful cross-cultural experiences.

Teamed up with students from different MAD disciplines, used different softwares to create an AR working prototype app, all within 6 weeks.

I joined Emcee CCA, made new friends, collected new awards and certificates, completed projects / camps, kept my GPA and travelled overseas!

Signed up for leadership camp (again), made new friends, learned more about different leadership approaches & played hard!

MD4201 Module assignment featured on Elgydium's Instagram! Learned about Social media strategy and applied it in a real world context.

Took up my lecturer’s challenge to do a Meta certification (in social media marketing), passed it and got reimbursed. Thanks SP!

Got my first award at SP, as well as a nice wefie with our MAD director, Mr Mark LU and a free cup-cake! Nice way to wrap up my 2nd year.

Followed up on Car-lite Challenge 2023. Met up LTA rep at SMG for a sneak peek at CRL & received our certificates and shared future plans.

Shadowing my seniors during the SP Open House 2024 at SP Plaza was an eye-opener. Here are some of my key insights.

I met Mr Ng at a workshop. He accepted my offer to revamp his wife's website. I applied skills from MD003 to build a prototype & got paid.

Participating in the LTA Car-Lite Challenge 2023 gave me new insights into project management, leadership, communication, & collaboration.

SP's AI Manga Challenge showed how digital artwork (entirely created by AI!) combined with good story-telling makes a great manga.

"When one door closes, another opens." Somehow, I had pivoted from a waiter role to working on a special project with Shangri-la's HR dept.
